The Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) provides the social work community with a number of publications intended to communicate timely and relevant information specific to the profession. CASW also strives to continually generate and distribute timely positions statements and policy options to emerging national and international issues.
CASW publications include the Canadian Social Work (CSW Journal), CASW Bulletin, and CASW Reporter.
Canadian Social Work (CSW) is the official publication of the CASW and is published annually in the autumn. It is available on the Members' Site or the Subscribers' Site or by ordering from the Publications List.
The CASW Bulletin is bi-annually and keeps social workers informed of initiatives and activities of the CASW, as well as activities within the International Federation of Social Workers. News and issues of interest to social workers are presented along with links to relevant projects and initiatives.
The CASW Reporter is a monthly e-flyer that updates social workers and others on CASW opportunities, events, and initiatives.
Outside of CASW publications, CASW also provides members with a daily media monitoring service that aggregates relevant provincial, national and international social work news.
