The John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights (JHC) and trusted partners will host the Ignite Change 2023 Global Convention, the largest celebration for the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Ignite Change promises to be a historical gathering of civil society, academics and decision makers from across the globe to reaffirm their commitment to the principles of justice, freedom, equality and dignity.
From December 1-10, 2023, partners will host a series of online events that will work to amplify and advance human rights while building bridges and solidarity across diverse communities. We aim to foster dialogue, collaboration, reflection and action on the present human rights challenges facing our world today. Each day of the Convention an overarching theme will be explored.
