Moral Injury in PTSD webinar – Friday 2nd June 2023 at 12:00pm - 1:30pm (Pacific Time)/3:00pm-4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time).
Bespoke Mental Health Canada is delighted to announce a series of training in evidence-based psychological treatments (www.bespokementalhealth.ca). This upcoming 90 minute webinar is by Professor Jennifer Wild on how to treat moral injury within the context of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Moral injury describes the profound psychological distress that can arise after perpetrating events that transgress an individual’s moral or ethical code or failing to prevent people from carrying out such acts. Moral injury can be part of what is traumatic about an event and can contribute to the development of PTSD as well as other mental health problems.
Professor Jennifer Wild is Professor of Military Mental Health at the University of Melbourne. She holds affiliate status at the University of Oxford where she developed evidence-based interventions to prevent PTSD and depression in emergency workers.
The Webinar will take place on Friday June 2nd 2023, 12:00pm - 1:30pm (Pacific Time)/3:00pm-4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time). The webinar will be available to watch live-streamed or can be booked to watch later ‘on-demand’.
