For the past nine years, the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) has advocated for social workers to be included in federal student loan forgiveness for those working in rural and remote communities.

In Budget 2024, the Government of Canada committed to making this change. However, the regulations have yet to be finalized.

We’re almost there — but we need your voice to ensure the Government follows through on its promise.
