Hosted by the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP), the 35th Annual National Suicide Prevention Conference is the premiere Canadian event for exchanging knowledge on suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention. Taking place in Richmond Hill, Ontario, from May 14 to 16, 2025, this conference provides a unique forum for diverse perspectives including researchers, front-line clinicians, people impacted by suicide, and First Peoples’ teachings from across the country to share insights, strategies, and research on suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention. This year’s theme, “Lean In and Listen,” reflects our commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where meaningful connections and conversations can thrive.
By presenting at our conference, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of these meaningful conversations, connect with others passionate about making a difference, and help influence the future directions for suicide prevention, intervention and postvention in Canada. We encourage submissions that align with one or more of the conference streams:
- Indigenous/Life Promotion
- People with Lived Experience
- Populations - i.e. LGBTQ2S+, BIPOC, mental illness
- Occupations - i.e. First responders, hospitality
- Research & Trends - i.e. Best practices
