Jayelee Grady BSW RSW MEd. is a great asset to the field of Social Work on PEI. Jayelee started her social work career in 2002 as a Disability Support Worker in O'Leary PEI. Over the 20 plus years she has held frontline, supervisory, and policy positions in Child Protection and has been the Provincial Manager for Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions with Health PEI. Most recently she has assumed the position of Provincial Manager of Victim Services with the PEI Department of Justice and Public Safety. Jayelee has been the Vice Chair of the PEI Social Work Registration Board and assumed the role of Chair in September 2022. Jayelee has been described by her colleagues as a "pillar of integrity, reliability, wisdom, and steadiness:. It is a great honour for PEIASW to nominate Jayelee for this wonderful award.
