The Canadian Academy of Health Sciences 2026 Forum will focus on One Health, how it relates to health sciences and CAHS’ work. Through the duration of the event, we will hear from experts in One Health on recent initiatives and how it impacts the work done by health scientists in Canada and internationally. We will have breakout sessions which will enable more in-depth discussions and exchanges. Keynote speakers will provide information on how their work embraces the concept of One Health and is informed by it. Finally, CAHS will have sessions that will provide updates on what the Academy is doing and how its own work is influenced by One Health approaches.
Through keynote presentations, panel discussions and facilitated breakout sessions with internationally recognized leaders in the fields of climate change, health, and sustainable care, participants will gain insight into the state of the evidence base, and deliberate strategic and actionable solutions.
