CMA’s inaugural Health Summit - Inspiring a Future of Better Health

Monday August 20, 2018 to Tuesday August 21, 2018
Location:
Winnipeg, MB

Medicine and health care are changing faster than ever before. How do we adapt? How do we embrace innovative practices to reach vulnerable patients, or expand access to care?

Explore these questions and more at the CMA’s inaugural Health Summit this August 20-21 in Winnipeg. You, along with patients, physicians, and other leaders in Canadian health care can be a part of the conversation that will help shape health policy in the future.

The CMA Health Summit will challenge your thinking, help you build an innovation mindset, and provide the perfect forum for networking and nurturing relationships across diverse groups. Meet and engage with hundreds of attendees, and more than 25 speakers and panelists, including future health strategist Zayna Khayat, Indigenous health leader Dr. Alika Fontaine, XPrize winner and innovator Philip Edgcumbe, and astronaut Chris Hadfield.

As part of this inaugural Summit we’re offering 20 sponsored spots to patients and caregivers with up to $2,000 of travel and accommodation reimbursed. To learn more about the program visit this link or contact Audrey Grandmaison at audrey.grandmaison@cma.ca. We hope you will encourage the patients and caregivers in your networks to apply online.
