The Essentials and the Evolving: CBT for Today’s Clinician
Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies 2027 Annual Conference
This year’s theme reflects both the enduring foundations of cognitive behavioural therapy and the ways our field continues to grow, adapt, and evolve. Across two days, we are excited to bring together an exceptional group of clinicians, researchers, educators, and trainees to explore both established and emerging approaches to CBT and, most importantly, what they mean for our clinical work.
Our program features an outstanding lineup of in-person speakers, including Drs. Stefan Hofmann, Stéphane Bouchard, Skye Fitzpatrick, Christine Purdon, Fred Aardema, Adam Radomsky, Melisa Robichaud, Jacquie Cohen, Michel Dugas, and Russ Harris (live virtual session). Together, they will take us from the foundations of contemporary CBT to evolving areas including process-based therapy, innovations in OCD treatment, artificial intelligence, supervision and clinical learning, emotion dysregulation, integration of existential approaches, and trauma-focused ACT.
