The Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) & the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers (NBASW) are pleased to announce Anne Caissie as the 2024 New Brunswick Recipient of the CASW Distinguished Service Award.
Anne Caissie has been a social worker for over 33 years and impacts those around her daily. She is a proud social worker working with the Department of Social Development's Disability Support Program. She continuously finds ways to improve processes to help individuals with exceptionally complex needs and is essential in new project development, such as building new service delivery models.
“Anne provides exemplary service as a consultant on the Disability Support Program team. She is the true definition of a team player, willing to support the work and her colleagues in any way she can. She provides an extraordinary amount of support to the zones and your colleagues at all levels relative to her role as a consultant”, says nominator Merri-Lee Hanson.
She is recognized for her dedication to the social work profession, her compassionate demeanour, and her positive impact on everyone with whom she interacts.
