Crystal Giesbrecht is the Director of Research and Communications at PATHS. Crystal’s work at PATHS includes educating member agency staff, professionals, and the public on best practices for supporting survivors of intimate partner violence and abuse. Crystal is a Registered Social Worker and holds a BA (Hons. in Psychology), BSW, and MSW. She has worked as a Domestic Violence Counsellor (casual) at Regina Transition House and is an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina.
Jo-Anne Dusel is the Executive Director of Provincial Association of Transition Houses and Services of Saskatchewan (PATHS). Prior to this, she spent 20 years working directly with women who have experienced abuse as a frontline women’s shelter staff member. Jo-Anne was a panelist on Saskatchewan’s first Domestic Homicide Death Review and is frequently consulted by the media on issues related to violence against women.
Karen is the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers and will be moderating this webinar.
